ML-KIT includes the necessary mixing tools, acetone, instructions and pre-measured chemicals to make 40 grams of pyrogen. This is enough pyrogen to make hundreds of non-folded rocket motor igniters. This is our longest burning igniter formula and works great for instantly igniting even the largest of AP rocket motors.

Because of our new formulated mixture this electric match will reliably fire every time even on the most humid of days. Once ignited the pyrogen burns for approximately one second at a temperature around 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit! Amperage requirement for successful ignition is 5 to 6 amps at 12 volts DC per igniter. Caution: if you are going to ignite a cluster of motors make sure the launching system can instantly deliver enough amperage. Example: 6 igniters x 6 amps each = 36 amps needed to reliably ignite all 6 igniters.

Each match ohms out at 0.8 ohm (+) or (-) 0.2 of ohm, no guess work here, unlike some other brands.
