ML-KIT includes the necessary mixing tools, acetone, instructions and pre-measured chemicals to make 40 grams of initiator composition. This is enough initiator composition to make hundreds of non-folded rocket motor initiators. This is our longest burning initiator formula and works great for instantly starting even the largest of AP rocket motors.

We cannot ship initiator composition kits outside the US!

Because of our new formulated mixture this initiator will reliably fire every time even on the most humid of days. Once initiated the initiator composition burns for approximately one second at a temperature around 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit! Amperage requirement for successful ignition is 5 amps at 12 volts DC per initiator. Caution: if you are going to start a cluster of motors make sure the launching system can instantly deliver enough amperage.

Each initiator ohms out at 0.8 ohm (+) or (-) 0.2 of ohm, no guess work here, unlike some other brands.
